Tom Travis....If you've ever heard Bob Kingsley on American Country Countdown, it's not me! I've been playing radio since 1983 and it's always been country music I've played. I've worked in Little Rock, Fayetteville and Ft. Smith Arkansas, Oklahoma City and a rumored short career in Jamaica (I don't remember much about it). I'm a married father of 5 ranging from 23 years to 6 months (3 girls and 2 boy). I Love God, Country and Country Music! You'll find me parked in front of anything sports and / or the Military Channel.
Eric Church says his mom deserves at least some of the credit for his success. The country star explains that his vocal abilities come from her side of the family.
But Eric adds that his mom's influence goes well beyond singing. He explains that when it comes to his career he owes her "everything." Church adds that he got from his mom "a lot of the qualities" he's needed to get where he is today, "not only as a musician, but as a man."
Happy Mother's Day to your mom, Eric!

With Golden now in stores, Lady Antebellum is also unveiling the second single from the disc. The group's Charles Kelley says "Goodbye Town" is about "that time after a breakup when everything about a place reminds you of that person."
He adds that they used production techniques to enhance the mood of the song, and "reflect that almost haunting feeling."
"Goodbye Town" follows the chart-topping hit "Downtown," the lead-off release from Golden.
