(WENN) - Country star Brad Paisley made his Broadway debut this week when he joined actor William Shatner onstage for a surprise appearance during his one-man show.
The Star Trek legend is currently starring in Shatner's World: We Just Live In It at the Music Box Theater and he had a special guest in store for the audience at Monday night's production.
Paisley strolled into the spotlight with his guitar for a reprise of the play's final musical number, "Real," much to the crowd's delight, reports TheaterMania.com.
The odd pairing is nothing new - Paisley, who is in the middle of his Virtual Reality Tour, actually wrote the track last year for the veteran actor's Searching for Major Tom album, while Shatner has previously appeared in the country hitmaker's music videos for Celebrity and Online.
