Reba McEntire's been hosting the ACM Awards for 13 or 14 years now, but this year, she won't be at the helm. Her recent co-host, Blake Shelton will return.
Blake says the search for a new co-host has been pretty spectacular. And of course, Blake was quick to poke fun at the search... “If we can just get somebody that can read. This is country music; that’s narrowing the field down.”
Blake says the search is over and hinted the new co-host “is a fan favorite to the point where I'm starting to feel the pressure of this person's stardom creeping up into my territory."
So, who is it? The answer is....Luke Bryan. Blake revealed the new co host, after 25,000 people shared the message 'a new co-host has been found' on Twitter.
Reba stepped down to focus on her new sitcom Malibu Country.
