Honey Boo Boo is not a Girl Scout, and her efforts to help a scouting friend by selling Girl Scout cookies on Facebook were not well received.

The Girl Scouts organization contacted Honey Boo Boo's site administrator and explained that online selling is off-limits because it defeats the whole purpose of selling the cookies -- to teach the girls goal setting and people skills."

Since Honey Boo Boo is not a Girl Scout, she didn't know the rules for selling the cookies. OOPS! She's now taken the message off of Facebook, but is still helping her friend offline.

She's already sold 400 boxes of cookies for her friend.
