If you're a fan of Nashville, the television show or the city, then you're familiar with the Bluebird Cafe where  songwriters perform nightly.

Sunday night at the Bluebird, two country greats took the cafe's small stage. Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson picked up guitars and performed for an enthusiastic audience.

The Tennessean reports that Willie was being honored by the Nashville Songwriter's Association. Kris presented him with the association's first lifetime achievement award, an award that's actually named after Kris. Kris told Willie, "I’m really proud to be giving you this; I’m embarrassed that my face and my name is on it.”
