Is it surprising that people are talking more about Jennifer Lawrence's dress than who won the Screen Actors Guild Awards?
We don't know how Jennifer, just 22, kept her composure. Jennifer won the Best Actress SAG award for her role in the movie Silver Linings Playbook.
As she approached the stage to accept her award, she stopped for hugs, and at some point her dress got snagged on a chair. As she pulled it, the dress ripped--not a tiny tear, but a significant RIP! ->
She quickly pulled the ripped bottom up & under the top part of her dress.
Jennifer's acceptance speech was flawless, and she never mentioned the dress mishap, though it caused many a seasoned actress, including Nicole Kidman to gasp.
Jennifer, recovering from walking pneumonia, had thought her weakness would be the biggest challenge of the night.
KUDOS to her for keeping it together, unlike Claire Danes who umm-ed her way through her acceptance speech for Best Actress in the Drama TV Series Homeland.
