A double elimination on Dancing With the Stars sent two all-stars home Tuesday night: Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini.

Kirstie and her partner Maks Chmerkovskiy were often in the bottom of the competition, so viewers knew it was just a matter of time before Kirstie would be sent home.  

Gilles and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were frontrunners, so their exit came as a bit of a shock. 

Both Kirstie and Gilles were thankful to be part of the Dancing With the Stars all stars competition this season. The semi final competition continues next week.
