Pat Robertson has gotten into some hot water recently with his opinions.  This time is no exception.  When asked by a follower on how to get past the bad feelings concerning her cheating husband, Robertson pretty much blamed her for his infidelities. 

"Does he provide a home for you to live in," Robertson said. 'Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear? Is he nice to the children... Is he handsome?"

"Here's the secret," the famous evangelical said. "Stop talking the cheating. He cheated on you, well, he's a man."

WOW!  IF only this were an exceptable excuse..."Yeah honey I did take that woman to a motel,,,but it's your fault."  I just don't see that excuse working.  Check out the whole story here. 

Generations before like to think that generations behind are a bunch of kids who are lazy, who will ruin the country, and want to sit an watch TV all day and rot their brains.  I see something different.  I see a generation of kids who are tired of apathy and want change the way things work.  Prime example is this story from Ft Lauderdale.  These kids could have "not wanted to get involved, ruined thier tuxes, or feared being late for the prom, instead they help a family in an overturned van.  Hats off to them.

A strawberry farm in Camarillo, CA allegedly fired workers who fled the field after being innundated with smoke from a nearby wildfire. Workers were said to have left their jobs picking the berries because of the smoke, but when they returned the next day were reportedly told they were fired for walking off the job. 

After the story made headlines, the farm said it was a big misunderstanding and said the workers were welcomed back, but most had already found employment elsewhere.

Glad these guys didn't own a office high rise.  "We don't care if the building's on fire, get back to your desk.!!"

If you were thinking of sending Mom and e-card for Mother's Day, you may want to read this first.  Scammers line up for his holiday just like any other.  Phony online stores, E-cards with virus' atteched, worthless vouchers or discount programs.  You need to be careful.

If something looks to good to be true, it probably is.  Take precaution like you would any other day.  Mother's Day is not sacred to a thief. 

What would you do to kick a bad habit.  We all have something we wish we didn't do...too much soda, too many cookies, smoking,...whatever your vice is you wish there was an easy way to stop.  Etta Lopez wanted to quit smoking but she found it difficult.  She knew the county jail offered a "stop smoking program."  If only she could find a way to get into that program...if only she were in jail...Oh, I got it...smack a cop!  She did, they did, and now maybe she can kick her habit.
