So a bunch of us from the station, who are also running in the Fifth Third River Bank, went over to their office today. They bring such an interesting perspective to the event and all that is has to offer. The whole meeting was about making sure we were OK and that we had what we needed to reach our goal.
For someone like me, who hasn't run since high school, I really didn't have a clue as to what I needed to do. How do I train, what do I need to train, when should I start? They are really thorough, They have training schedules, how far along should you be at any given point, what is the best clothing to wear...just about any questions I had they answered.
In my previous post I included links to some of the partners of the Fifth Third Riverbank Run. I'd love to have some "running buddies." Check out those links and let's get started.
I can't believe I am doing this.
