Dropped Butterfingers led officers to an apartment complex in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, close to a convenience store that had been ripped off. Police found a pair cowboy boots in the laundry room that matched boots seen in surveillance video. That and other evidence helped officers ID two teenagers, who were busted for the break-in.

The magazine has named her to their list of The New Immortals -- that is, relatively current acts Rolling Stone thinks will stand the test of time. Taylor is the only act associated with country music to make the list. Others gaining "New Immortal" status include Beyoncé, Kanye West, Pearl Jam, The White Stripes and Lady Gaga.
Really? A Florida man says Tim McGraw is his dad. 23 year old Tyler Zarbo isn’t Tim’s biological son, but the son of Tim’s former fiancé. He tells the National Enquirer that "Tim was like a father to him" and that the two still keep in touch. Tim’s reps refuse to comment on false statements.

He's created Skullastic, a company that produces everything from "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" notebooks to "Nightmare on Elm Street"-themed glue. He says they combine education, monstrous aliens and rock 'n' roll. Skullastic offers its products for schools to sell to raise money. Rich is an LA based advertising art director. But both his parents were teachers in Oregon. He tells an Oregon paper he has a passion for education.

There aren't too many college students who couldn't use an extra $1,800 in cash. But when that sum of money literally fell into the hands of a University of Delaware student, it didn't stay there.
Devon Gluck of Ellicot City, Maryland says when he went to an ATM to make a withdrawal last month, he heard strange noises from the machine. What happened next was stranger still — the PNC Bank ATM spit out 18 $100 bills.
Gluck took the money with him — but a few days later decided to return it. He went to a bank branch and deposited the money with officials there. Turns out the money came from another student's account — and has been returned to that account. Gluck says a bank manager thanked him for returning the money.
