weird news today
A California high school student hid in a locker recently to try to catch a serial backpack thief in the act. Arming herself with a cell phone camera, Linden High School sophomore Justine Betti hoped to bust the crook who had been stealing cash from book bags during gym class for the past year. What she discovered was more shocking than she could have imagined…the thief was a well-liked teacher!
In the incriminating video footage, the teacher is seen waiting until all the students left the locker room and then opening several backpacks and methodically going through them.
Betti brought the video to the school principal and the teacher has been placed on administrative leave pending an inquiry. GUESS WHO'S IN THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE NOW.

Would You Like That To Go
According to a new survey, the average worker spends $11.84 every day on coffee, lunch, and snacks. That comes out to about $2,800 a year, or almost $131,000 over the course of your career.

Ever said this - "you're going to be the death of me" - to your son?
You don't know how right you were!
A new study found having sons can take an average of 8 1/2 months off a moms life. Why? Because they require more nutrients from the mother's body during gestation.
Don't worry too much about it, though, because researchers studied mothers between the 17th through the 20th century. Modern medicine makes up for what was missing way back then.
These day, it's your teenage girls that will most likely stress you into an early death :)
Seriously, though, girls will kill you.

Silence IS Golden
Experts say one of the best ways of dealing with someone who’s being rude, obnoxious or offensive is to give them the silent treatment! Though it has long been considered passive-aggressive, simply cutting off conversation with a jerk helps you avoid unnecessary conflict. It also keeps you from wasting energy.
In a study, participants who were forced to have an exchange with a rude person performed poorly on a task afterwards, while those who gave the jerk the silent treatment performed better. But before you employ this tactic with your spouse, be warned: repeated use of the silent treatment can have negative effects on long-term relationships.

good news story
18-year-old Jhaqueil Reagan had no idea that when he stopped for directions last week he’d meet a man who’d change his life. Restaurant owner Art Bouvier was laying salt rock outside his Cajun restaurant in Indianapolis when Reagan stopped and asked how far it was to his destination. Bouvier told him it was at least six or seven miles and suggested he take a bus in the cold weather, but Reagan just thanked him and kept walking.
Later Bouvier and his wife noticed Reagan still on his trek and offered him a ride. During the trip they found out the teen had been forced to drop out of school and raise his siblings, but with only a GED he couldn’t find stable work. He was on his way to a Dairy Queen for a job interview and had already walked three miles before reaching Bouvier’s restaurant because he couldn’t afford the bus.
Bouvier was so impressed that he instantly told Reagan that even if he got the Dairy Queen offer he would double his salary to have him come work at his restaurant. Reagan accepted and started work on Monday. And that wasn’t the only good news for Reagan – it turns out he won’t be walking anywhere for a while.
After Bouvier posted the story on Facebook and it went viral, the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation offered the teen a year’s worth of bus passes.
